Modern synthetic teak decking is not just about plank geometry and surface texture. The caulk color between the boards has a huge impact on how realistic and high-end the finished deck looks. At DuraTeak we offer a set of proven standard colors, but we also specialise in custom caulk color matching so that boat owners and yards can get exactly the deck appearance they want.
For authenticity, black caulk remains the classic choice and is still the most commonly used color, just like on traditional wooden teak decks. Over the last decades, improvements in caulking and grout materials have introduced additional options such as white, grey and beige. Because these colors also work very well with real teak, we include them as standard caulk colors in the DuraTeak palette for alternative teak decking.

As an extrusion facility, we produce both the DuraTeak synthetic teak decking profiles and the matching caulk materials in-house from high-quality plastic granules. This gives us full control over color, hardness, gloss level and overall material quality. We supply different industries with profiles and seams in a wide range of sizes, colors and material grades, all tailored to the specific application.
